Stop me if you’ve heard this one before: the specialty coffee chain is having logistics issues. The pandemic, issues with shipping lanes, container shortages, and a host of other problems are making the already difficult task of multinational coffee trade even more so. With the latest iteration of their Future of Coffee Logistics Summit, Digital Coffee Future is pacing the problem head on. Taking place November 17th and 18th, the online event will bring coffee professionals together to discuss issues affecting logistics as well as innovative technologies and solutions.event

Over the course of the two days, a series of panels and workshops led by leaders in the logistics, academic, and coffee circles to help bring into focus what issues exactly are stymying the supply chain. Discussion topics include the state of the specialty coffee industry and its trade, reducing carbon emissions, streamlining logistics via data and warehouse efficiencies, risk management, increasing volumes, and many others.

Like with last year’s event, the 2022 Future of Coffee Logistics Summit will be available in both English and Spanish in order to broaden its reach. And the event isn’t just for those currently working in logistics but is for all coffee professionals who want to have a better understanding of how coffee gets from farm to cafe.

Tickets for the event are on sale now. Regularly priced at €70, now through November 1st, Digital Coffee Future is offering Early Bird rates at only €35. And thanks to tickets provided by sponsor CropConex, producers, cooperatives, and farmers associations can apply for free tickets by answering a few questions via the Digital Coffee Future website. Free ticket applications must be submitted by November 6th.

For more information, to see a full roster of speakers and topics, or to purchase tickets, visit Digital Coffee Future’s official website.
